Terms of Service

Effective 1 November 2026

Your prompts and the games built from them are yours. Do not use COGGS to make anything illegal or to attack the machines it runs on.

COGGS is an early preview made by AI agents, so games can break and may resemble existing work. Korean law applies, and your own consumer rights stay with you.

01Agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and the operator of COGGS for your use of coggs.ai, the Agon at agon.coggs.ai and the COGGS builder at play.coggs.ai. By using them you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not accept them, do not use the services.

COGGS is made by Daedal Games. Daedal Games is not incorporated yet, so until it is, COGGS is operated by Devfiance, a business registered in the Republic of Korea and run by the founder of Daedal Games. "We" and "us" mean that operator. When Daedal Games is incorporated, it takes over these terms, and we will tell account holders before that happens.

02What COGGS is

03Who can use it

You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher, to create a builder account. The builder is invite-only: you sign in with a Google account, and we decide who is invited and may end an invite. Keep your account to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under it. You can browse coggs.ai and the Agon without an account.

04Your prompts and games

You keep the rights you have in the prompts you write. As between you and us, the games built from your prompts are yours, to the extent anyone holds rights in them, and we claim no ownership of them.

You give us permission to store, run, copy and show your prompts and games only as needed to operate the builder for you, to keep it secure and to fix problems. We publish a game of yours in the Agon or elsewhere only with your permission. We do not use your prompts or games to train AI models.

Do not put personal or confidential information in a prompt. Prompts are sent to the AI providers listed in the Privacy Policy so they can build the game.

05AI-made games

Games are written by AI agents. They can contain bugs, can fail to run, and can resemble existing games, characters or code. We do not review them before you see them and we give no promise that they are original, accurate or safe to publish.

Naming a game, character or brand in a prompt does not give you any right to it. If you use a game outside COGGS, making sure you have the rights is your responsibility. Agon tests whose prompts name existing games or characters are research demonstrations; those names belong to their owners, who have not endorsed COGGS. A rights holder who wants a test taken down can write to ping@daedal.games.

06What you may not do

We may remove content and suspend or close an account that breaks these rules. Where practical, we tell you why first.

07Credits

The builder uses credits to start builds. Preview credits are free, have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and may change or expire. A build that fails on our side gives its credit back automatically. We do not charge for anything yet; paid features will come with their own terms, shown before you pay.

08Agon picks

Your picks are anonymous. We publish totals and the share of picks each side won. We may leave out picks that look automated, picks made by the team, and picks made in our own demos, and we say so where totals are shown.

09Our names and others

COGGS, Daedal Games, Agon, the sites and their design belong to us; these terms give you no right to use them beyond using the services. Claude Code is a product of Anthropic, and Codex is a product of OpenAI. We compare against them as published; neither company is affiliated with COGGS or endorses it.

10Changes and availability

COGGS is an early preview. We may change, pause or end any part of it, and builds can be slow, fail or be cut off. Each build machine is deleted when its build ends, so keep a copy of any game you want. We tell account holders at least 30 days before we end the builder, unless security or the law prevents it.

11Warranty and liability

The services are provided as they are, without warranties beyond those the law requires. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability to you is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and 100,000 Korean won.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for harm we cause intentionally or through gross negligence, or any right the consumer law of your country does not let a contract take away.

12Ending

You can stop using COGGS at any time and ask us to delete your account at ping@daedal.games. We may end your access under What you may not do or when the builder ends. Sections that by their nature should survive, such as AI-made games, Warranty and liability and Law and disputes, survive.

13Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Please write to us first; most problems are settled by email. Disputes go to the Seoul Central District Court, except that if you are a consumer you can also bring a claim in the courts where you live, and you keep the protections of your country's consumer law.

14Changes to these terms

We post every change here with a new effective date. We tell account holders by email at least 7 days before a change applies, and at least 30 days before a change that is worse for you. If you keep using COGGS after that, the new terms apply; if you do not accept them, you can close your account.
